Paralegal for a Solar Company in the US
Job summary
A forward-thinking renewable energy firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their remote legal team. The role requires expertise in legal research and contract analysis, with a preference for candidates holding a Paralegal Certificate and at least 3 years of Paralegal experience, ideally in a corporate or renewable energy environment. This position offers flexibility with the need for collaboration across time zones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
- A Paralegal Certificate/ law graduate is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in a corporate or renewable energy environment.
- Proficient in legal research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on U.S. federal and state laws related to renewable energy.
- Review and analyze contracts to identify risks and compliance issues.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including contracts and reports.
- Maintain and organize the company’s legal files and records.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team in a dynamic solar company headquartered in the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience with legal research, contract review and analysis, and drafting legal documents. This is a remote position, with a preferred overlap of 4 hours per day with the Arizona timezone/ work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Research:
- Conduct in-depth legal research on U.S. federal and state laws, regulations, and policies related to renewable energy and solar industries.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting the company's operations.
- Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to identify potential risks, compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
- Provide summaries and recommendations to stakeholders regarding contract terms.
- Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including contracts, amendments, memoranda, and reports.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain and organize the company’s legal files and records.
- Assist the legal team with preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for internal or external use.
