Hamburg-based asset manager for clean energy infrastructure is looking for a Valuation & Performance Analyst/Associate (m/f/x).

Your responsibilities

As Valuation & Performance Analyst/Associate (m/f/x), your tasks will focus on the following areas:

  • Supporting the fair value assessment of renewable energy assets and infrastructure projects
  • Building and maintaining financial models, especially DCF models, to derive asset valuations
  • Applying market-based valuation methods and preparing valuation assumptions based on internal analysis and market data
  • Coordinating with external valuation advisors and managing the timely delivery of valuation reports and opinions
  • Ensuring alignment of valuation processes with IFRS and/or local GAAP fair value principles
  • Collaborating with investment, finance, and risk teams to ensure consistent and accurate valuation inputs
  • Assisting in the implementation of valuation methodologies across the portfolio
Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Preparation of quarterly and ad-hoc performance reports for investors, including both qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Tracking, monitoring and analysis of fund and portfolio KPIs (e.g. IRR, MOIC, TVPI)
  • Conducting benchmark and peer analyses to evaluate relative fund performance
  • Maintaining monthly cash flow data and supporting liquidity management within the internal reporting and controlling framework
  • Responding to internal and external requests for tailored performance information
  • Supporting the preparation of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and investor materials during fundraising processes
  • Supporting the development and improvement of the Track Record Monitoring System to streamline data collection, processing, and visualization
Your profile
  • Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with a strong academic background
  • Modeling and evaluation skill set is critical
  • Strong quantitative capabilities and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and quantitatively oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
