Currently, we’re looking for a UI / Motion Designer to help us create rich, immersive in‑car digital experiences, where visuals move not just on screen, but emotionally. From refined interface motion to expressive light design and future‑forward 3D animations, you’ll play a key role in crafting the signature feeling of AVATR.

You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams in Germany and China, contributing to premium, forward‑looking interface concepts for next‑generation mobility. This role is ideal for someone with a strong motion design foundation, an eye for elegance, and a passion for future tech.

What you will do

• Design high‑end UI and motion for in‑car digital experiences
• Create expressive light‑based and 2D / 3D animations that feel intuitive and emotionally engaging
• Translate UX ideas into visual stories and motion‑driven concepts
• Collaborate with design, lighting, and engineering teams across Germany and China
• Contribute to futuristic interface concepts and help define a consistent motion language
• Stay inspired by emerging trends in motion, interaction, design, and real‑time tech

What you will bring

• 5+ years of experience in motion design, UI design, or interaction design for digital products.
• Self drive and autonomous working style with direct reporting
• A strong portfolio showcasing motion work : especially 2D, light‑based, or 3D animation with a refined aesthetic
• A sharp eye for detail and a strong sense for premium, elegant, and emotionally engaging design
• Proficiency in tools like After Effects, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (experience with Blender, Unity, or Unreal Engine is a plus)
• A solid sense of timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
• Strong collaboration and communication skills (English is must, German and / or Chinese is a plus)
• Degree in Motion Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Game Design, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in automotive, connected products, or high‑end tech design

Nice To Have

• Background in real‑time environments, lighting design, or interactive storytelling
• Familiarity with cross‑cultural teams or experience working internationally
• Passion for shaping future experiences beyond traditional screens
