Our AI Development department serves as a facilitator for Data & AI transformation. We are taking a holistic approach, from the initial evaluation of AI maturity, through the design and development of data and AI solutions, to the practical implementation and scaling of AI solutions. Through our deep expertise in Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, we ensure that our clients gain the maximum value from their data.
For our AI Development team, we are looking for trainees who we will specifically prepare for their future role as Junior Consultants with a focus on Data Science within one year. You can find detailed information about our trainee program here.
Your tasks
- You will design generative AI and NLP solutions as part of our project teams and regularly interact closely with our clients and various stakeholders
- You will act as a developer, working on various NLP use cases such as knowledge management with retrieval-augmented chatbots or fine-tuning language models
- You will implement robust, scalable, and high-performance ML pipelines on different infrastructures (e.g., Azure), following current best practices
- You will support the development of products and the further development of our product portfolio and contribute to the creation of marketing content
- You stay up to date with the latest developments in NLP and AI (e.g., repositories, methods, tools, papers)
- You will support our (senior) consultants in their daily work, for example by preparing client meetings and presentations
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in data science, business administration/economics, statistics, computer science or business informatics
- You have already gained practical experience in the field of data science as well as in consulting
- You possess deep knowledge in Machine Learning & Deep Learning, particularly regarding transformers, LLMs, and generative AI
- You have hands‑on experience with common NLP tools and methods, such as HuggingFace Transformers, OpenAI APIs, tokenizers, and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch)
- You ideally bring initial experience with cloud deployments and ML Ops, e.g. on Azure, GCP or AWS
- You are a strong communicator, have a very good command of German and English (at least C1) and can prepare and present complex issues in a way that is appropriate for the target group
- In addition, you are characterised by your reliability as well as your thorough and structured way of working
- You enjoy occasional business trips to our customers on site in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland
