Overview
Join our team in Leipzig and help make fair markets happen – as our new Technical Writer & Digital Learning Developer (m/f/d). This is a temporary position with an 18-month fixed-term contract.
What you'll do
At PRISMA, you will play an important role in making complex information clear, accessible, and engaging for a wide range of audiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Documentation Creation: Write and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, product manuals, and FAQs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other teams to gather detailed technical information and ensure accurate documentation.
- Simplifying Complex Concepts: Translate complex technical processes into easy-to-understand language for a wide range of audiences, including non-technical users.
- Content Updates: Regularly update and maintain documentation to reflect new features, product updates, and system changes.
- Knowledge base Management: Structure and continuously improve the customer-facing knowledge base, and ensure the effectiveness of its content.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all documentation is consistent, accurate, and aligned with PRISMA’s standards and voice.
- User Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from users and internal teams to improve documentation clarity and usability.
- E-Learning: Conceptualization, development, and management of digital courses in the LMS, as well as related digital learning materials.
What we expect
As a Technical Writer & Digital Learning Developer, you’re expected to have:
- Proven experience as a technical writer, ideally within a tech or SaaS company.
- Ability to explain complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Creative thinking and ability to collaborate on complex projects.
- Experience working with development teams and understanding of software development processes.
- Familiarity with documentation tools like Confluence, Git, or Markdown.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English (German or other European languages are a plus).
