We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager – Solar Energy for the Southern European region to join our diverse team.

Responsibilities
  • Grow and expand direct and indirect sales within the defined territory/region by promoting OTT HydroMet product lines in the field of solar energy and establishing professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts to meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume.
  • Actively seek and develop new business opportunities through direct and indirect channels using consultative selling, funnel management, and cross/up selling where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate time and territory balance by developing and executing a plan to maximize time in the field with customers and prospects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends through collaboration with peers, industry publications, and conference attendance.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts and customer-specific initiatives through internal departments including Legal, Finance, Sales, Service, and Customer Support.
  • Use metrics, KPIs, and forecasting to self-manage productivity and meet targets for profitable sales volume.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the health of the customer opportunity funnel and collaborate with leadership and sales operations to achieve best results.
Essential requirements
  • 3+ years of sales/commercial experience in the B2B-oriented solar energy industry; utility-scale PV experience is a plus.
  • B.A. or B.Sc. degree in a management or science-related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Engineering, Business) or equivalent.
  • B2 level English language skills; additional languages are a plus.
  • Demonstrated relational and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with people of various technical backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in using a CRM tool for funnel management and forecasting.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time within the Southern Europe region with a valid driver’s license.
Location

The role covers the Southern European region and can be located in Croatia, Italy, Greece, or Slovenia.
