Technical Project Manager to the CDO Office (m/w/d)

  • Drive the execution of Group IT projects from setup to delivery, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and ownership.
  • Act as a key execution partner to the CDO and business unit CIOs, supporting them in delivering all activities and commitments defined in the DERTOUR Group CIO Steering Board Governance.
  • Establish and maintain practical project structures, including plans, milestones, risks, and status reporting.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks or delays, and support teams in resolving issues.
  • Support preparation of decision-ready materials for the CDO and CIOs, including project status, roadmap updates, and investment-related topics.
  • Coordinate and consolidate the Group IT roadmap, highlighting dependencies, overlaps, and execution risks.
  • Prepare, facilitate, and document CIO Board meetings, Jour Fixes, and workshops, with a strong focus on decisions, actions, and follow-up.
  • Participate in regular project and stakeholder meetings, including travel to business units (mainly within Europe).
  • Work with external vendors and service providers, supporting delivery tracking and performance management where required.
  • Degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in technical project or program management in a complex IT or enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience delivering IT or digital projects across multiple teams or locations.
  • Strong understanding of IT landscapes, software delivery, infrastructure, or enterprise systems.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership (e.g. CDOs, CIOs, senior IT management) and supporting decision-making at that level.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and execution skills, with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives and priorities under time pressure.
  • Experience working with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Power BI).
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills, especially for structured presentations and reporting.
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken); German is an advantage.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to challenge constructively, align stakeholders, and drive outcomes across organizational boundaries.
