Your mission

• You will have technical product responsibility for the entire portfolio of ballistic protection systems
• You will work closely with the sales, R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance departments in the area of product development and maintenance
• You will manage the interface between technology, sales, and government customers
• You will create technical product requirements and specifications in accordance with various ballistic standards and textile components for portfolio and project products
• You will accompany and document testing, certification, and product approval processes
• You will analyze the market and competition to identify new trends, materials, and protection concepts, and accompany product strategy and life cycle management
• You will support sales from a technical perspective, including product training, bid support, and participation in trade fairs

Your profile

• You have a degree in engineering (e.g., textile/materials engineering, mechanical engineering, safety engineering) or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of professional experience in product management or in the development of ballistic protection systems, textile technology, or composite materials
• You have in-depth knowledge of ballistic testing procedures, standards, and materials science
• You are experienced in dealing with approval bodies and testing laboratories.
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
• You are willing to travel nationally and internationally.
• A strong technical understanding combined with business acumen, strong communication skills, a solution‑oriented approach, and a confident manner with customers and partners round off your profile.
