Overview

Technical Consultant - Digital Computational Pathology (m/f/d)

Responsibilities
  • You will be part of Digital Computational Pathology (DCP) within the Enterprise Informatics business (EI).
  • You will help drive the digital transformation of pathology and play a crucial part in expanding our DCP business by implementing sophisticated IT solutions for healthcare customers.
  • Solution Implementation: Install and configure Digital Pathology IT solutions, enabling the storage and real-time streaming of large-scale data for new customer projects.
  • Customer Support and Consulting: Upgrade existing software, resolve technical issues, advise customers on IT topics, and ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the lifecycle of the solutions.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams, including scanner engineers, to integrate high-resolution tissue scanners with IT backends, while developing best practices and documenting standards and procedures.

You're the right fit if
  • You are fluent German and have good English skills both written and oral. Fluency in Dutch, Italian or Spanish will be considered an advantage.
  • You hold a Bachelors Degree in Health Science, Business or Engineering OR Vocational Education or equivalent relevant experience.
  • You have 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • You have knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft SQL, Active Directory, Group Policies, and network.
  • You have experience working in production environments against SLAs.
  • You have knowledge of common security technologies and practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem analyzing skills.
  • You have excellent ability to understand the customers' requirements and work with the project team to find the best solution.
  • You have a strong ability to communicate with all levels of customers and liaise effectively with internal and external support functions.
  • You are willing to work outside normal office hours when needed.
  • You have proven documentation skills and ability to produce precise reports.
  • You are passionate and self-driven to drive things forward and develop yourself.
  • You must be willing to travel up to 20% of your time. This role focuses primarily on DACH countries but you may need to support other countries as a part of a wider European team.
How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

This role is a field role.

This role is not open to relocation.
