The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the tasks and requirements of the unit Information Technology are varied. IT takes care all matters relating to information technology, i.e. electronic data processing. The responsibilities vary from IT-infrastructure to digitization of the organization to the operational use of electronic data processing throughout the organization.

How You Will CELLebrate

• Leading a technical team across various infrastructure platforms – Servers / Storage / DB / Middleware / IAM
• Planning resources, including budget management and cost control for the infrastructure platform environment, and assigning tasks within the team
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure platforms and ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of all infrastructure platforms
• Planning, coordinating, and implementing IT infrastructure platforms, as well as developing infrastructure platform strategies, technology standards, and policies
• Establishing and maintaining processes for capacity planning, monitoring, and forecasting IT infrastructure
• Implementing and maintaining security protocols and access controls to safeguard sensitive platform infrastructure and data
• Conducting regular assessments of IT infrastructure platform environments to identify vulnerabilities and implementing solutions for improvement
• Collaborating with internal departments and external partners
  
  

What You Need For Our CELLebration

• Degree in computer science, IT or a related field
• Several years of experience in IT infrastructure technologies (e.g., Servers / Storage / DB / Middleware / IAM)
• Several years of experience leading teams
• Knowledge of ITIL, service management processes, and the latest trends and technologies in infrastructure platforms and management
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an understandable way
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams and collaborating with various stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English

• Having several years of experience in project management, ideally in the IT infrastructure domain
• Demonstrable success in managing and implementing infrastructure projects
• Experience in IT risk management in an operational environment
