We're seeking an ambitious Team Lead Beauty (m/f/d) for our evolving beauty division at our Hamburg headquarters. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your strategic thinking, market analysis, and persuasive power to drive category growth and enhance our market positioning. Ideally you will have a strong background in B2B management, deep industry knowledge, and a passion for beauty trends.
Your Profile
- Growth & Market Expansion: You have experience in developing and executing growth strategies, with a particular focus on expanding into key markets in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
- Market & Trend Analysis:You identify global beauty trends early and can thoroughly analyze developments in key segments such as fragrances, skincare and haircare.
- Cross-Functional Leadership:You have proven experience in leading and developing high-performing, cross-functional teams of various seniority levels across Buying, Sales and Business Development.
- Relationship Management: You maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, distributors and brands, and can strategically advance existing partnerships to drive business success.
- Operational Excellence:You work in a structured manner and collaborate closely with Logistics, Finance, Tech and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operational processes.
- Negotiation & Pricing Strategy:You are confident in negotiating commercial terms and can develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability.
- Budget & KPI Management:You have experience managing budget-related topics and using relevant KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Language Skills: You possess fluent English skills, both written and spoken. German skills are nice-to-have but not necessary.

Your Mission
- Identifying growth opportunities within the Beauty category and driving initiatives that increase revenue.
- Keeping a close eye on international market trends in perfumery, skincare, haircare and body care, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Setting and implementing strategically relevant priorities (e.g., target markets, brands, assortments, pricing approaches) to position the team for success and strengthen market presence.
- Supporting the international expansion of the Beauty department across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.
- Providing functional leadership to a cross-functional team in Buying, Sales and Business Development, covering multiple seniority levels.
- Building strong relationships with (premium) beauty suppliers, customers, distributors, and brands — while further developing existing partnerships to ensure smooth, professional collaboration.
- Negotiating favorable terms with partners and helping shape pricing approaches that maximize profitability.
- Ensuring seamless operations in close alignment with Logistics, Warehouse, Finance and Tech.
- Developing and optimizing SOPs to establish clear, efficient and consistent operational processes.
- Using relevant KPIs to drive data-based improvements.
- Contributing to the budget planning process for the Beauty department.
- Staying closely aligned with the management team and maintaining transparent communication on key developments and results.
