This is why the Carbon Footprint Improvement team is looking forward to welcoming you as Project Manager Agricultural Supply Chains at Meo headquarters in Cologne.

The Project Manager Agricultural Supply Chains will lead and oversee projects focused on greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations and sustainability reporting. This includes managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant GHG assessments aligned with regulatory and organizational sustainability targets.

Your main duties will be :

• Consulting projects with a focus on agricultural supply chains, circular economy, bioeconomy, biobased products.
• Developing customized greenhouse gas calculations for entire supply chains using various tools and standards.
• Calculating GHG impacts at farm level from carbon sequestration activities.
• Performing data research, analysis, and evaluations for specific customer requests, including report and market study preparation.
• Conducting in-depth analyses and benchmarking of different (governmental) regulations on GHG accounting for the relevant markets and supporting their integration into certification systems.
• Implementing concepts and processes alongside our customers.
• Supporting the development of our service portfolio and managing proposals and tenders.
• Managing the entire project lifecycle, including scheduling, stakeholder management, documentation, controlling, and participating in client meetings and workshops (both in-person and virtual).
• Representing the company through presentations at public, national, and international events.

Your profile

• University degree in agricultural science, natural science, life science, organic agriculture, natural resource management, sustainable management, economics, or related fields.
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in GHG calculations for international supply chains.
• Good knowledge of GHG emissions accounting standards (ISO 14064/14067/14044, GHG Protocol, IPCC, or similar) and Lifecycle Assessments.
• Experience in project management.
• Additional advantageous skills include sustainability certification, policy consulting, stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills in an international environment with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (at least C1); basic Portuguese or other languages are a plus.
