Supply Chain Central Europe is responsible for the supply chain of nearly all liquid chemicals of EU Europe Chemicals. From contact with suppliers to logistics providers and customers, everything is managed efficiently.

To strengthen our team in Hamburg, we are looking for a motivated Supply Chain Operations Manager (m / f / d).

Your tasks :

• Act as an interface at the operational level with suppliers and customers, providing high-quality after-sales and after-purchase services.
• Contribute to smooth operational planning of supply chains for the relevant product groups, markets, or customer segments.
• Process business transactions in SAP SD / MM and / or TM.
• Support all relevant month- and year-end closing checks and activities.
• Follow internal processes and quality regulations (Aris, ISO, HELM-Principles), and report deviations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with external regulations (dangerous goods, customs, foreign trade, tax, etc.) and handle external complaints (e.g., 8-D reports).
• Maintain a balance between cost-effective supply chain management and high service levels to customers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Product and Sales Management to address supply chain or logistics issues and monitor market developments.

Your profile :

• Have a logistical background with several years of professional experience in supply chain management.
• Familiar with dangerous goods requirements, tax regulations, and foreign trade standards.
• Proficient in MS Office and experienced with SAP.
• Demonstrate an open, team-oriented, and service-minded approach.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
