Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, supplier quality, or procurement, ideally in a semiconductor, tech, manufacturing, or R&D-driven environment
• Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949:2026
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred), quality management tools, and Excel; experience with BI tools or Python is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English (German is a strong plus)

The Role

Black Semiconductor is looking for a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer (f/m/d) to strengthen our growing team in Aachen, Germany. In this role, you will ensure that all supplier materials, both direct and indirect, meet our high-quality standards and requirements. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain and improve quality processes, conduct audits, and ensure smooth tracking of materials in the ERP system
This role is critical in supporting the reliability and performance of our semiconductor production and operations

• Manage day-to-day activities related to supplier quality and materials and ensure accurate tracking in the ERP system across all categories of direct and indirect materials, including wafers, IT hardware, office equipment, consumables, and gases
• Organize and perform supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and internal quality requirements
• Develop and implement quality control plans for supplier materials in collaboration with suppliers and internal departments
• Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues
• Collect and analyze supplier quality data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supplier base and contribute to developing Black Semiconductor’s quality strategy
