Your profile
- 3-4 years of experience as aircraft/launch vehicle structures engineer in reputed aerospace companies
- Experience with CAD software (Inventor, CATIA or PTC Creo) and FEM (Ansys Structural, APDL)
- Inter-disciplinary knowledge across various aerospace engineering fields
- Knowledge and application of aviation/aerospace grade materials including composites
- Experience with Thermal Protection System (TPS)
- Experience in managing engineering teams of 3-5 engineers is an advantage
- Work experience in a start-up environment is beneficial
- Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and team-working skills
- Proficiency in both German and English

Your mission
- Detailed structural designing of a Supersonic airplane using aviation and/or space standards, including but not limited to primary structure, internal architecture, landing gears, engine mounts, and subsystems attachments
- Structural analysis and optimization using FEM methods or equivalent analytical methods
- Manage the “master CAD” by keeping track of all structural design changes and their impact on the overall performance of the aircraft
- Support in system and subsystem tests for structural certification of the airplane
- Rapid technical decision-making within tight deadlines
