The Role
We are seeking highly motivated Golang developers (all levels) to join our Factory Software Engineering team.

Our engineers are hands-on, owning projects, contributing ideas, and impacting our operations. Our mission is to streamline factory operations by building scalable software systems, reducing costs, and solving engineering challenges.

What You'll Do

• Participate in requirements gathering, technical specification, and design of complex software systems
• Design architecture for fault-tolerant, distributed, and adaptive automation applications
• Implement, deploy, and maintain enterprise-scale manufacturing execution software
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
• Build tools, automate testing, and document processes
• Adapt to changing business requirements

What You'll Bring

• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals including design, algorithms, data structures, and maintainability
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Go or experience with other languages like Java, Scala, Kotlin, C#, C++, or Rust with willingness to learn Go
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Proficiency in English; German is a plus
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous
• Knowledge of Kafka and stream processing is beneficial
• Experience with debugging using centralized logging tools (Prometheus, Splunk, etc.)
• Understanding of distributed computing and data storage systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-impact environment
• Smart, humble, with a proactive attitude
