GEA Group is searching for a Service Product Manager to enhance their Heating & Refrigeration Technologies service business. The role requires developing new service products, working on go-to-market strategies, and driving product market launches, all while ensuring customer needs are met. This position is ideally based in Berlin, offering opportunities for hybrid work in a company recognized for its sustainability efforts.
We are looking for a Service Product Manager (f/m/d) to support the Heating & Refrigeration Technologies (HRT) service business to enhance our range of "Service & Maintenance Contract" products from HRT's existing portfolio of services.
The HRT Division of GEA provides refrigeration and heating solutions for processes, distribution, district heating/cooling and other industries. In this way we help our customers to de-carbonize their processes using only Natural zero-warming potential Refrigerants - we're at the forefront of industrial de-carbonation!

The position would ideally be based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch or Berlin, but we are open to other EU locations or hybrid working arrangements for the right candidates.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Product development of new service products according to priorities of the service product development roadmap - Specifically for this position "Service & Maintenance Contract" standards and frameworks.
Development of new service products carefully considering our customers pain points & value proposition of each service product idea.
Go-To-Market strategy development and implementation plan for the launch of service products.
Execution of the product market launch including all necessary materials, training developments and communication.
Tracking the product lifecycle of assigned product responsibilities and defining improvement action for white spots in markets around the world.
Staying up to date about market trends and competitor offerings.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field with 5+ years of industry experience.
Minimum 3 years of significant experience in Industrial service organization & business.
Good knowledge of product management theory, including business case development, product development, and product Go-to-Market strategies.
Interpersonal skills (power of persuasion and well-argued reasoning, proven to maintain & build up relationships and networks with relevant decision makers and stakeholders).
Strong people orientation, customer/service orientation and analytical & organizational skills.
Self-driven and able to create an own roadmap according to priorities.
English Language (upper intermediate or better), German is an advance.
Preferably in addition:
Significant refrigeration industry experience & business understanding.
Understanding of process industries within food, pharmaceuticals or other.
Good knowledge of GEA's competitors, their services, and products.
