Our client is a pioneering biotechnology company focused on developing a novel class of T cell receptor (TCR) bispecific immunotherapies. Headquartered in the UK, it is recognized for its groundbreaking work in targeting intracellular antigens and has developed the first approved TCR therapeutic for a rare and aggressive form of eye cancer. The company’s innovative platform has the potential to transform the treatment landscape for a range of cancers, infectious diseases, and autoimmune conditions.

Lead the promotion of a flagship oncology product in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and serve as a subject matter expert in product marketing. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients with a rare and life-threatening eye cancer by supporting the commercialization of a first-in-class bispecific T cell receptor therapy—part of a new generation of targeted immunotherapies.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing for Europe, this role is a key member of the European commercial team. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategic and tactical marketing plans tailored to the DACH markets.
  • Adapting global brand strategies to local market needs, ensuring cross-functional alignment with Medical, Market Access, and Regulatory teams.
  • Leading peer-to-peer engagement and support program strategies across the region.
  • Executing marketing tactics aligned with market needs and measuring their effectiveness using appropriate KPIs.
  • Driving initiatives to support early patient identification and increase therapy duration.
  • Organizing and managing external events, congresses, and KOL engagement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant review and approval of materials.
  • Supporting the sales and market access teams with clear communication of strategies and key messages.
  • Facilitating workshops and developing marketing materials for national field team meetings.
  • Gathering feedback to refine marketing initiatives and identify new opportunities.
  • Managing budgets, reviewing invoices, and conducting ROI assessments.
  • Coordinating the annual commercial planning and budgeting process.
  • Working with procurement and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and services.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry guidelines.
  • Support other ad hoc projects that arise with evolving brand needs and changing market dynamics
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a German marketing role within oncology.
  • Background in sales and/or marketing within a German affiliate.
  • Prior experience as a sales representative
  • Strong background in peer-to-peer marketing and brand planning.
  • Pharmaceutical or relevant marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with Veeva Vault or similar promotional/regulatory platforms.
  • Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in Austria and Switzerland is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region and occasionally across Europe.
  • Deep understanding of brand marketing, including positioning, branding, and channel strategy.
  • Expertise in tailored peer-to-peer and support program approaches.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and regulatory landscape in the DACH region.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills to interpret data and shape strategy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to change.
