Jobbeschreibung
Senior Product Manager – Ancillary Services

At AirHelp, we’re building products that transform how people experience travel. What began twelve years ago as a simple idea to help passengers get fair compensation for delayed or canceled flights has grown into a global mission. Now we’re entering our next chapter: creating new, impact‑driven travel products that make journeys seamless, fair, and empowering.

Department: Product
Location: Berlin

What you’ll drive:

  • Guide partners on how to best position our services to their end customers, ensuring an optimal user experience and driving adoption.
  • Accelerate revenue by analyzing performance data and optimizing product adoption, conversion, and revenue per partner.
  • Use your expertise in the B2B2C travel market to identify opportunities, shape our strategy, and evolve our ancillary product suite.
  • Act as a key liaison between Product, Sales, Account Management, and Tech teams to support partner integrations and new deal opportunities.
  • Translate complex commercial and technical ideas into precise, actionable business requirements.
  • Support the ancillary product strategy, define the roadmap, and identify new growth and monetization opportunities.

What you’ll deliver in the first 12 months:

  • Revenue impact: Support and execute the B2B growth strategy for AirHelp+ Ancillaries, achieving at least a 50% increase in year‑over‑year revenue.
  • Portfolio expansion: Launch at least one new ancillary product or benefit, validated by customer and partner feedback, and ready for scale.
  • Partner enablement: Deliver an integration framework that enables partners with limited technical capabilities to easily onboard AirHelp Ancillaries.
  • Performance visibility: Introduce a data‑driven performance dashboard or reporting framework to monitor partner engagement, conversion, and revenue metrics.
  • Scalable playbook: Develop a partner success toolkit (go‑to‑market guidelines, best practices, UX recommendations) to standardize and accelerate future partner launches.

What sets you apart:

  • Industry expertise: 5+ years managing ancillary or revenue‑generating products in travel, aviation, or e‑commerce. You understand how airlines, OTAs, and aggregators monetize beyond the ticket.
  • Commercial mindset: You connect user experience with business impact, translating insights into measurable growth. You know when to optimize, when to pivot, and how to experiment your way to results.
  • Execution excellence: You’re highly organized, outcome‑oriented, and comfortable working in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments where priorities shift fast.
  • Customer empathy: You think like a traveler and act like a partner. You uncover needs behind behaviors from B2B clients to end consumers.
  • Cross‑functional leadership: You excel at influencing without authority, rallying diverse teams around clear goals, and driving alignment across product, commercial, and tech stakeholders.
  • Analytical fluency: Strong command of data‑driven decision‑making, comfortable with performance dashboards, experimentation frameworks, and partner analytics.

Why to join AirHelp:

  • Culture of Autonomy: No micromanagement, no politics. Just builders building.
  • Growth Investment: Personal development plans, internal workshops, mentorship, and language classes.
  • Culture That Cares: Team events, supportive peers, and a mission you can feel proud of.
  • Flexible Benefits: Choose between gym pass, personal development, childcare, transport, or travel subsidies.
  • Global Workstyle: Work from anywhere for up to 2 weeks/year, because we know the best ideas come from seeing the world.
