The role

As a Senior Price & Discount Strategy Manager you will work in all fields that are related to HelloFresh’s International price & discount strategy. Typical challenges that you will solve are:

• What is the right price & discount strategy for a newly launched market or brand?
• What is the optimal discount strategy for new customers?
• How can we incentivize customers to spend more on HelloFresh?

In this role you will collaborate with stakeholders from multiple countries and teams like Product, Marketing Analytics, Growth Marketing and CRM, thus making it a great opportunity to learn about all areas in the HelloFresh organization.

What you’ll do
• Develop new price & discount initiatives, align them with stakeholders, conduct A/B tests, monitor and analyze them, and most importantly draw the right conclusions
• Understand and solve complex price & discount challenges that stretch over multiple parts of the business
• Serve as a thought-leader by scoping new opportunity areas and tests
• Develop high-quality business cases and analyses that support our data-driven decision making and ruthless prioritization
• Partner with various teams across the organization and present your recommendations to members from the Senior Leadership Team
• Closely monitor performance figures and derive the right price & discount decisions to achieve your challenging targets
• Develop and optimize price & discount best practices and playbooks that will help us to make a huge impact for each of our markets
What you’ll bring
• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management, Business Analytics, Economics, Psychology or any related field from a top tier university is a must
• Two to four years of experience in Consulting and/or or a price/discount related role
• Highly data-driven mindset and attention to details
• Excellent analytical skills incl. very good Excel skills (SQL, Tableau or Python is a big plus)
• Ability to structure, visualize and solve every problem
• Being a team player but also knowing how to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-moving / fast-growth environment
• Fluency in English
