About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior Enterprise Solution Architect with expertise in Life Sciences to work with clients in the DACH region. The role involves designing innovative solutions, guiding clients on technology choices, and working closely with global teams. Fluency in German and English is required, and occasional travel to client sites is expected.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the design of solutions for life science and medical technology clients.
2. Develop technical solutions for core projects.
3. Guide on solution architecture options and long-term roadmaps.
4. Balance innovation with technical feasibility and sustainability.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams locally and globally.
6. Create and present proofs-of-concept and architecture proposals.
7. Ensure solutions comply with FDA, HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulations.
8. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience.
2. Experience in solution architecture or similar roles with a strong software engineering background.
3. Experience in the Life Sciences industry.
4. Fluency in German and English (reading, writing, speaking).
5. Experience in consultative environments, linking technology to business value.
6. Experience with migration projects and enterprise architecture frameworks.
7. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, pre-sales, RFPs, POCs.

• Experience in regulated environments for life sciences.
• Experience with clinical trial platforms and healthcare interoperability standards.
• Knowledge of EHR technologies and standards.
