Position: Electrical Engineer / High Voltage (m/w/d)

Our Engineering team is seeking a new team member in the field of electrical engineering / high voltage. This area covers a broad spectrum, from high- to low-voltage technology, as well as specialized topics such as frequency converters, lighting technology, electrical heating, and uninterruptible power supplies.

In addition to our diverse benefits, a full-time position offers an attractive starting salary between €104,800 and €127,100 per year plus a variable component. The starting salary depends on your qualifications and experience.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Represent the electrical engineering department, focusing on high-voltage technology, in interdisciplinary investment projects from conception to commissioning.
2. Take responsibility for quality, schedule, and cost control.
3. Develop energy supply concepts within the FEL phases according to Covestro Engineering processes.
4. Develop and ensure the application of internal standards (focusing on high-voltage technology) in projects and adapt them to specific or global requirements.
5. Support colleagues worldwide in process control technology with electrical engineering questions, especially in your area of expertise.
6. Participate in national and international working groups on electrical engineering / high voltage topics.

Your Profile:

1. Holds a university degree (Master's) in energy/electrical engineering or an equivalent technical qualification with extensive professional experience in the mentioned areas.
2. Several years of experience in maintenance or project planning for electrical energy supply (focusing on high voltage) in industry, with solid knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
3. Shows initiative and commitment, especially for international projects.
4. Demonstrates strong team and communication skills.
5. Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
