In our headquarters in Düsseldorf we are looking for you as
As an experienced expert, you are responsible for international category management and the development of one of our premium beauty categories (Fragrances, Skincare, Color Cosmetics, Haircare / Beauty Accessories).
You define the strategic direction and assortment design of the category, its sub-categories, and relevant brands.
You are responsible for scouting, selecting, and assessing the potential of new brands, as well as for the further development of strategic brands within our existing assortment.
By analyzing European market, retail, and brand trends, you not only provide crucial competitive insights but also establish yourself as a key interface for international stakeholders.
You manage assortment adjustments through KPI-based analysis in close coordination with the Douglas clusters.
You define group-wide guidelines for assortments in our online and offline store formats, as well as placement guidelines. In collaboration with adjacent departments, you ensure a customer-oriented omnichannel shopping experience through category and brand presentation (including navigation, visual merchandising concepts, and special areas).

Alongside these competencies, we’re looking for the following skills:
You have an impressive professional track record and a successfully completed degree in business administration.
Your several years of senior-level experience in category management, purchasing, or sales are backed by proven successes in the beauty industry.
Your skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are at an exceptionally advanced level.
Analytical work comes naturally to you, and you handle complex analyses with practiced ease.
Your willingness to travel, approximately 15–20%, reflects your commitment to international challenges.
In addition to your business-fluent English, you ideally speak a second foreign language (e.g., French, Italian, Polish, or Dutch).
