Job Overview

The User Interfaces Team at Solactive defines, implements, and maintains our Design System, the foundation for consistent, high-quality interfaces across the company. This system ensures a cohesive user experience, standardizes processes, and promotes collaboration, enhancing efficiency in development and operations. The team also manages Solactive's public website, aligning it with our design principles and ensuring smooth integration.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll tackle complex challenges, building scalable, user-friendly front-end applications that delight internal and external users. Collaborating with development and business teams, you’ll drive UI design and implementation, setting new standards for front-end excellence. Your Tasks

1. UI Framework & Design System: Maintain and enhance the UI framework used as the basis for all graphical interfaces at Solactive, ensuring a consistent and cohesive design language.
2. Design and Implementation of UI Architecture: Develop a flexible and scalable architecture for user interfaces that supports the needs of current and future projects.
3. Front-End Development: Lead the development and maintenance of Solactive’s public webpage as well as other client-facing applications, with a strong focus on user experience and performance.
4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with backend, DevOps, and business teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of frontend applications.
5. Support Full-Stack Development: Utilize knowledge in Java, Go, and Python as needed to assist with full-stack development tasks.

Your Profile

1. Deep Expertise in React: Proven track record of designing, building, and scaling complex front-end applications using React.
2. UI Framework Maintenance: Experienced in maintaining a UI framework or design system, ensuring consistency across all graphical interfaces.
3. Architecture Design: Ability to design flexible, scalable UI architectures that allow for future growth and adaptation.
4. Problem-Solving Mindset: Skilled in creating and applying problem-solving scripts to tackle complex development challenges efficiently.
5. Collaboration & Mentorship: Strong communicator, able to work well with other teams and mentor junior developers.
6. Full-stack proficiency: Strong understanding of back-end development concepts and technologies to collaborate effectively with back-end teams and contribute to the overall architecture (Java, Go, Python).
