Location: Flexible within Germany (regular visits to our Paderborn office required)

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager – Sourcing & Logistics Finance Leader will serve as a strategic finance partner to the global supply chain organization. This role is responsible for driving financial rigor and transparency across sourcing (direct and indirect procurement) and logistics operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives for cost optimization, working capital efficiency, and footprint rationalization. The position requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in operational and financial performance.

  • Lead FP&A for sourcing and logistics, including price variance analysis, savings reporting, and planning, forecasting, and pacing.
  • Partner with supply chain teams to deliver improvements in Days to Pay (DTP) and working capital
  • Drive transparency across direct and indirect procurement and logistics spend, ensuring compliance and enabling informed trade-offs.
  • Support execution of logistics footprint rationalization initiatives, providing financial analysis and tracking benefits realization.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities, and actionable insights to senior leadership.
Qualifikation
  • Proven experience in finance leadership roles within supply chain or procurement.
  • Strong FP&A expertise, including variance analysis and cost optimization strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and analytical tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle EPM/Hyperion).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Global sourcing and logistics finance exposure.
  • Experience in working capital optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Familiarity with footprint rationalization and supply chain transformation programs.

  • Working Capital Efficiency: Achieve targeted improvements in DTP
  • Savings Delivery: Track and report cost savings against annual targets.
  • Forecast Accuracy: Maintain variance within ±2% for sourcing and logistics budgets.
  • Footprint Rationalization: Deliver execution milestones on time and within budget.
  • Reporting Timeliness: Ensure monthly FP&A reports are delivered by agreed deadlines.
