Job Description

As a Senior Client Engagement Manager / Industrial Key Client Sales, you will be responsible for identifying and building new business. You will be expected to reframe the client’s thinking and build consensus for Microchip’s solutions, co‑creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.

  • Manage and expand strategic accounts, ensuring long‑term success and satisfaction
  • Identify the key client stakeholders and coach them through Microchip’s solutions whilst supporting them within their organization
  • Contribute and participate within a global team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies across client’s divisions and geographical locations
  • Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their investments in clients
  • Build strong partnerships with industrial clients by presenting Microchip’s unique business insights and cutting‑edge technologies
  • Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities to engage new clients
  • Develop compelling business cases to initiate contact with prospects in early sales funnel stages
  • Apply creative strategies to attract new clients and solve complex challenges

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of the ICT (Information and Communication Technology), Enterprise and Datacenter markets
  • Ability to create market specific analysis and mapping these to Microchip solutions
  • Building, maintaining and synergizing partnerships with our distribution network
  • Understanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our client’s business requirements
  • Ability to communicate with confidence into C‑Level and Top Management contacts
  • Good understanding of embedded electronic system solutions and ability to engage with Research and Development teams
  • Ability to create market specific analysis and map these with Microchip solutions
  • Understanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our client’s business and system requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms to enhance productivity, decision‑making, and customer engagement
Qualifications And Experience
  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in a business and / or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Business fluent language skills in German and English
  • Relevant market knowledge and industry experience
