Senior Backend Developer Platform (m / f / d)

Location: Trier or 100% remote in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain framework components and functionalities for our 3-tier application platform.
• Ensure and constantly improve installability, portability, scalability, and servicability of our products.
• Deliver reusable application components that help the organization to monitor and control our backend services.
• Maintain and further develop framework components such as Application Server Framework, Kubernetes Framework, etc.
• Perform software design and architecture reviews to evaluate and iterate designs.
• Work with both local and international product teams.
• 3rd level support on complex customer problems.
• Ensure regular reporting regarding status and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent education and experience.
• Several years of experience as a software developer.
• Very strong knowledge in at least 3 of the following technologies: Jakarta Enterprise, Kubernetes, Docker, Java SE, Go, JBoss Wildfly, Oracle SQL, PL / SQL, Networking, Infrastructure, Prometheus, JMeter, Grafana, Dynatrace.
• Enthusiasm for modern technologies.
• Experience in software design, planning, and concept creation.
• Fluent in German (mandatory) and very good English skills.
