We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Developer to join our team!

Within the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) Azure team of Mercedes-Benz AG, we manage central functions for the implementation of cloud solutions and support IT and business departments with the introduction of cloud technologies. We are on the move to automate all remaining manual processes and introduce self‑service capabilities wherever possible. Therefore, we want you to join and collaborate with us on reaching this goal.

Responsibilities

• Design and set up test automation concepts
• Develop automation of our deployment processes and enable self‑service capabilities
• Identify and implement optimization potentials in our processes and tooling and propose viable solutions
• Design and establish test automation concepts
• Keep our tolling landscape, software, and library versions up to date
• Implementation & improvement of CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment
• Proficiently set up test automation pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines
• Ensure smooth continuous integration and delivery of code changes
• Demonstrated ability to work well independently, and collaboratively as needed
• Ability to effectively collaborate in a virtual, cross‑functional diverse team environment
• Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and critical thinking skills with a focus on detail
• Problem solving mindset

Qualifications

• Experience
  • More than 5 years experience working with Azure cloud.
• Programming Languages
  • Experience in C# (preferred), Python, or Go
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Familiarity with serverless computing e.g., using Azure Functions
• API Development
  • Design, develop, and implement reusable, and reliable APIs
  • Document API development processes, standards, and guidelines for future reference and other developers
  • Provide technical support for APIs, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Test Automation and Continuous Delivery
  • Proficiently set up test automation pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines
  • Ensure smooth continuous integration and delivery of code changes
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Leverage strong Azure knowledge to design, implement, and manage IAM solutions
  • Find and resolve gaps in business processes related to security, authorization, user documentation, and data interfaces
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Platform Automation
  • Utilize Terraform or Bicep as foundational tools for IaC
  • Automate platform provisioning, configuration, and scaling
  • Drive efficiency and consistency through IaC practices
