We are currently looking for a skilledSenior App Engineer (m/f/d) - App & Webto support us in building the fastest & most intuitive shopping app using a brand-new tech stack onsite in Hamburg.

TheShop Applications Teamconstantly improves theApp, Mobile Website and Desktop Website.These big-scale products are each visited by over 11M active users every month. The team’s focus is to provide our customers the most inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and easy-to-use shopping experience. They constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of what is “state of the art” in customer-facing products.

What you will do

• Build and maintain our high-quality mobile application for iOS and Android using Flutter
• Contribute to architectural decisions and set coding standards for the team.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Testers, and other teams (Backend and Web) in a cross-stack environment.
• Introduce new technologies, tools, or processes that improve developer productivity and product quality.
• Debug performance and reliability issues across the stack.

Who you are

• You have 4+ years of programming experience, including at least a year of app development. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical degree is a plus, but we prioritize skill.
• You have expert-level knowledge of Dart and Flutter. You're experienced with CI/CD (e.g., fastlane, GitHub Actions) and unit and golden tests. You also have a strong understanding of performance optimization and profiling.
• You have strong ownership, self-drive, and leadership skills. You are a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Mobile native experience (iOS and/or Android) or mobile automated testing.
• Experience with gRPC, Firebase, and monitoring tools like Sentry or DataDog.
