We're looking for a Senior Analytics Manager to join our growing Data team and help shape how analytics is done at Airalo. Our analytics function is still young, which means a real opportunity to build processes, establish standards, and influence how things evolve as we scale. You'll own the analytics roadmap and drive execution across product, marketing, and business analytics, partnering with the Director of Data on strategy while taking full ownership of delivery and day-to-day team leadership.

What You'll Do
  • Lead a growing team of product, marketing, and business analysts, owning the analytics roadmap and execution while partnering with the Director of Data on strategic direction and capability building
  • Establish foundational processes, workflows, and standards as the team scales
  • Drive the rollout and adoption of self‑service analytics (LightDash) across the organisation, including training and enablement programmes for business users
  • Partner with Analytics Engineering to build and maintain production‑quality reporting models, dashboards, and semantic layers that empower teams to answer their own questions
  • Deliver marketing measurement and optimisation: attribution analysis, incrementality testing, cohort LTV modelling, CAC/ROAS frameworks, and customer value segmentation
  • Build a cohesive analytics practice that connects insights across product, marketing, and commercial teams – ensuring the business has a unified view of key questions like customer value, acquisition effectiveness, and growth drivers
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations and embed analytics capabilities within product, marketing, and commercial teams
  • Build a collaborative, high‑performance team culture that balances rigour with speed
Must Have
  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or similar)
  • 7+ years in analytics, data science, or related quantitative roles, with 3+ years of people‑management experience – ideally in scaling or building teams from the ground up
  • Experience in technology‑driven environments – B2C, marketplace, or subscription businesses – where data informs product and commercial decisions at scale
  • Track record of delivering measurable business impact through analytics – retention, conversion, LTV, CAC, ROAS, pricing, funnel optimisation, financial forecasting – including building the frameworks that made these insights repeatable and actionable across teams
  • Strong experimentation foundations: hypothesis development, experiment design, analysis, and communicating insights across product features, pricing, and marketing initiatives
  • Marketing measurement experience: attribution, incrementality, media mix concepts, cohort analysis, and channel performance evaluation
  • Operational rigor – you've established metric governance, experiment tracking, and reproducible workflows that scale across multiple teams
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical programming language (Python/R), with experience in modern BI tools and semantic layers – LightDash experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with analytics engineering concepts (dbt, data modelling, metrics layers) and a collaborative approach to working with data platform teams
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and greenfield environments, with a passion for building team culture, developing talent, and raising the bar on analytical craft
Nice to have
  • Experience in marketplace, telecom, or travel/mobility businesses
  • Familiarity with subscription or usage‑based revenue models
  • Previous experience at a scale‑up that went through hypergrowth
  • Experience building analytics capabilities in low‑maturity data environments
  • Background in predictive LTV modeling
  • Familiarity with marketing mix modelling
