Sales Specialist, Laboratory Automation – East Germany (Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig)

Location: East Germany (Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden)

The company is a global leading manufacturer of liquid handling robotics and laboratory automation. Their instruments are used in genomics, cell biology, proteomics, drug discovery, analytical chemistry, and molecular diagnostics applications.

The Position:

You will be responsible for managing existing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities in the East of Germany.

The position is home office based, with an average of 50% travel time to customer sites in the East of Germany; Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden.

Working with customers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic and clinical markets.

You will be responsible for managing the full sales project from consultation to completion.

Working closely with the Applications Support, Marketing, and Field Service Engineering teams in Europe.

You will have the opportunity to attend conferences and exhibitions.

The Requirements:

Educated with a BSc, MSc or PhD in a scientific field; Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biology, or related field.

Sales experience in the life science research or diagnostics market in Germany.
