We are hiring a Sales Manager (f/m/d) in Mannheim with extensive Freight Forwarding experience. In this role, you will develop a Book Of Business within the branch's geographical reach by implementing the company's commercial strategies and products to accelerate growth.

How you will contribute :

  1. Manage Book Of Business ensuring constant growth in volume, revenue, and margin.
  2. Liaise with branch operations to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs.
  3. Assist clients with export/import quotations and negotiations to close opportunities.
  4. Coordinate with DP World’s internal network and external partners to guarantee the best service.
  5. Maintain daily activity records in our CRM system to manage your pipeline and support the Field Sales Incentive Scheme.

Your key qualifications :

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Proven working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding industry.
  • Ability to research, identify, grow, and close business opportunities.
  • Strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, carriers, and vendors.
  • Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
