A global religious organization is seeking a Sacred Materials Language Coordinator to provide management support for translation and recording projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 8 years of translation experience, and 3 years in project management. Responsibilities include communication with translation teams and assisting with resource and project needs. This is a remote position located in Europe Central, with flexible working hours to accommodate team members across different time zones.

This role provides project and resource management support for various temple, scripture, and hymn translation and recording projects, being the connecting link between Church Headquarters in Salt Lake City and translation teams in the Area. It supports diverse teams of translators and voice talents in multiple languages. Its intent is to guide and align internal and external resources in achieving established targets of efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness for translating, interpreting, producing and delivering products to users around the world—with an emphasis on project management. The primary objective of this role is to facilitate the successful completion of sacred materials projects by coordinating job tasks through the use of translation project management tools and technologies and by assisting Sacred Materials Linguists and Area Language Supervisors in building capabilities amongst resources.
Candidates for this position will be leaders with exceptional organizational and time-management skills and experience in managing projects and in performing or supporting translation work. They must demonstrate problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail and familiarity with business operations and technology. In addition to keeping projects on track, they must also have strong communication skills in order to provide clear training and feedback on translation tools and processes to project team members. They must be service-oriented with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with people across cultures. They must be available to work during non‑standard business hours and on flexible schedules to facilitate partnership with team members and staff in other time zones.
