What your day will look like

The Project Manager (f/m/d) coordinates the implementation of the Thinkproject business solution and/or coordinates the managed operations, by managing timelines, risks, tracking revenues and costs, coordination and prioritization of tasks and managing and informing all stakeholders during the implementation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Manage projects from initiation to successful closure, ensuring effective handover to the relevant functions by applying established project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Progress & Performance Management: Track project progress, control scope, timelines, and deliverables, and ensure successful completion. Manage documentation, including project plans, charters, budget forecasts, project logs, tracking tools, change management and risk mitigation.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate and lead cross‑functional project teams, ensuring that all resources are effectively aligned with project objectives. Define clear project scope and establish measurable goals and milestones.
  • Program/Portfolio Governance: If the project is part of a larger program or portfolio, adhere to Program Governance and report directly to the Project Director. For standalone projects, report to the Project Sponsor, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to internal teams and external clients, addressing progress, issues, exceptions, and potential risks. Facilitate clear and open communication to ensure all parties are aligned. Act as a strategic thought partner to the executive team, contributing to business planning, portfolio prioritization, and innovation roadmaps.
  • Timeline & Quality Assurance: Monitor project milestones and ensure on‑time delivery of key deliverables and final products, while maintaining high standards of quality across all project phases.
What you need to fulfill the role
  • Education: Completed education at HBO or WO level (or equivalent).
  • Construction Industry is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel is required.
  • 2‑5 years of Project Management experience, as Project Manager/Lead managing and leading projects individually.
  • Technical Knowledge: In‑depth understanding of industry software solutions, best practices, and service delivery standards, as well as familiarity with the TP portfolio is a plus.
  • Functional Expertise: Project Manager certificate, one of the following certificates (PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI Certificate, or SCRUM Master) are a plus.
  • Industry Expertise: Knowledge of the construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors, specifically in relation to the asset management lifecycle is a plus; experience with software implementation projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage various stakeholders effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Team Collaboration: A team player, able to inspire and motivate cross‑functional teams toward achieving shared goals.
