Your missions
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and optimizing manufacturing processes in the aerospace sector. The role includes tasks related to the industrialization of new programs as well as the continuous improvement of existing ones. You will participate in the preparation of technical offers and contribute to the training of junior engineers on key manufacturing engineering topics. The position also requires supporting the sales department during the prospection process by sharing relevant information and contacts. Occasional travel within Germany may be required depending on project needs.
- Assume the role of Project Leader overseeing Manufacturing Engineering projects specifically related to aircraft manufacturing within a dynamic aerospace industry.
- Manage and coordinate project execution, encompassing planning, coordination, and control.
- Foster close collaboration with customers, ensuring effective communication of project requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams and sales to prepare quotations and calculations for customers.
- Handle resource planning and quality management to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor and track project phases, including reporting on a weekly basis.
- Manage complaints, implement risk management strategies, and lead project meetings.
- Be involved in strategic projects from offer phase to delivery.
Your profile
- Technical Experience (5 years): Solid hands-on experience in production environments (blue-collar background preferred), ideally with exposure to Manufacturing Engineering activities.
- Team & Client Management (2 years): Initial leadership experience, including managing teams and maintaining client relationships.
- Knowledge of ME Methods & Tools:
Methods: WPR, industrial process design, industrialization, Jigs & Tools (J&T), time studies, and calculation (MTM).
- Tools & Systems: SAP (PP / PM), PLM systems (Zamiz, TiCon, TAKSY, DocMaster / ECM), Delmia / Apriso, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office.
- CAD / CAE: Proficient in CATIA V5; knowledge of SolidWorks or 3DX tools is a plus.
- Additional Skills: Familiar with GD&T, basic FEA simulation, and metrology tools (laser tracker).
- Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English and German (C1 level). French is a plus.
- Work in an independent, structured, and result-oriented manner with strong communication skills.
