Tasks

• You will be responsible for the technical management and coordination of project controlling with regard to work execution as well as capacity and resource planning.
• You will be responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and will be the contact person for explaining data during external audits and annual financial statement audits.
• You will also carry out business planning, management, and control tasks for development projects.
• You will analyze and comment on project results as well as cost and performance relationships, including the preparation and conduct of forecast and cost status meetings and project reviews.
• Together with the project management team, you will coordinate adjustment measures in the event of target-actual deviations, thus ensuring compliance with business targets.
• You will be responsible for the continuous optimization and further development of our controlling instruments, including SAP-based reporting.

Requirements

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration with a focus on controlling or a comparable degree program.
• You have many years of professional experience in technical leadership in project controlling.
• You have in-depth knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS for revenue and earnings determination.
• You have experience in preparing forecasts and conducting project reviews.
• You are familiar with external audits and annual financial statement audits.
• You are adept at working independently, with structuring skills, and reliability.
• You possess strong analytical skills combined with strong communication skills and assertiveness.
• Your profile is rounded out by excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
