Job Responsibilities
- End-to-end responsible for the product category (Portfolio), collection of product data, and implementation of it accordingly into the portfolio;
- Development of local product strategy for the owned category and steering the sales department based on the strategy;
- Owner of the NPI Process (from product idea, evaluation of potential to market launch, keeping data alive through JIRA);
- Market analyses based on external and internal sources (monthly deep dives, sharing with departments involved);
- Track and analyze the category/product performance (market/ competitor/ sell-in/sell-out/distribution dynamics) and recommend actions;
- Define the initial pricing & price positioning over a lifetime, taking into account the category. margin;
- Design the channelizing based on global guidelines and local market requirements, and develop line-ups;
- Set the Initial FC, challenging bottom-up FC to come to the Requested FC (planning of main categories as monthly marketing forecast);
- Stirring product-related activities (ratings & reviews/product testings...) and implementation of results into datasheets / sharing with stakeholders;
- First contact for product-related topics/questions;
- Management of upload of product data on delonghi-media and distribution of product data to functions/departments;
- Management of product-related translations (eShop, Power Images, A+ Content);
- Responsible for the sales support material (e.g., product presentation, datasheets) of the owned product group;
- Briefing on adaptations of products catalog;
- Owner of JF meetings with sales teams and SC.
Qualifications
- Degree in economics with a focus on marketing or comparable qualification;
- At least 4-5 years of professional experience in marketing/product management - preferably in the consumer goods sector;
- Experience in sales is a plus;
- Distinct analytical ability and strategic problem-solving skills;
- Independent, decisive working style and strong implementation skills;
- Entrepreneurial approach and hands-on solid mentality;
- Strong persuasive and communication skills;
- High level of commitment, resilience, and flexibility;
- Ability to work under high pressure simultaneously on multiple projects and under changing conditions;
- Team player;
- Enjoyment and enthusiasm for food and cooking;
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel), SAP knowledge and experience in using Adobe Photoshop an advantage;
- Excellent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
