About the Firm:

A global alternative asset manager with a strong European presence is expanding its Munich office. The firm invests across private equity, private debt, real assets, and other alternative strategies, offering exposure to complex transactions and an international deal flow.

Responsibilities
  • Source and evaluate investment opportunities in Germany and Central Europe
  • Build detailed financial models and perform valuations
  • Contribute to due diligence processes (commercial, financial, operational, legal)
  • Draft investment memoranda and support transaction structuring
  • Monitor portfolio companies and contribute to value creation initiatives
  • Conduct market research and track sector/regulatory developments
  • Build strong relationships with advisors, management teams, and external partners
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 2–5 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, or top-tier strategy consulting (MBB or similar)
  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Fluency in German and English (both required)
  • High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive under pressure
  • Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic
