H&P is working with an established Private Equity Firm focusing on mid-market investments across Europe and looking for an Analyst to join its growing Frankfurt Team.

Role Overview

• Source and identify potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment, for prospective deals.
• Assist in executing investments, including negotiations, term sheet structuring, and deal-closing processes.
• Support portfolio companies post-investment with strategic advice, operational assistance, and growth initiatives.
• Prepare investment memos and present opportunities to senior leadership while providing regular updates on portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
• Strictly <2 years of experience in Tier 1 investment banking M&A or Leveraged Finance or Real Asset Private Equity
• Internships experience also applicable
• Must have had exposure/experience within the digital infrastructure or industrials spaces
• Self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in German is a plus, but not necessary
