A leading data and AI company is seeking a Field Engineering Manager to lead and develop their pre-sales team in Germany. The role involves coaching, building a collaborative culture, and engaging with key customer executives to drive strategic partnerships. Ideal candidates will have experience in managing pre-sales teams, a background in Data Engineering or Data Science, and proficiency in German. This position plays a vital role in promoting the company's innovative solutions and enhancing business relationships.
As a Field Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects as well as lead the expansion of Databricks’ presence in Germany. Your experience partnering with the sales organisation will help drive revenue with the right approach, whilst coaching new sales and pre-sales teams to work together. You will guide and get involved to enhance your team's effectiveness, be an expert at communicating complex, business value-focused solutions, support complex sales cycles, and build relationships with key partners in large corporations. You will report to the Sr. Director, Field Engineering.
