Centorrino Technologies are predominately a Managed Services Provider, as we've grown we have built our own IAAS platform spanning multiple datacenters and states in order to better support our client's needs. The Infrastructure Team own and manage this private cloud platform, ancillary services, and supporting network. The successful applicant will be someone who takes ownership of the platform, driving it’s constant improvement, and taking pride in their work.

What You’ll Do
  • Take ownership of a multi-tenant private cloud platform and its day-to-day operations
  • Perform security patching, software updates, and system maintenance, including after-hours work when required
  • Manage platform services including backups, monitoring, and hardware components
  • Participate in datacenter work for hardware upgrades and maintenance
  • Lead system improvement initiatives by identifying, planning, and implementing enhancements
  • Explore and evaluate new technologies to support platform capability and business value
  • Apply a security-first mindset to all changes and implementations
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements
  • Develop and maintain clear, high-quality technical documentation
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to uplift the technical capability of the wider team
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimise platform efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and secure infrastructure solutions
What You’ll Bring
  • Solid experience in platform engineering, ideally in a multi-tenant IaaS environment
  • Strong Linux engineering background and hands-on experience with OpenStack or similar cloud platforms (e.g. Ceph, Neutron)
  • Automation skills using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Experience diagnosing and debugging distributed and microservice-based systems
  • Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals
  • Exposure to Ceph, Kubernetes, or other open-source infrastructure stacks
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
  • A proactive mindset with curiosity to deeply understand systems and technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to solving complex problems
  • A detail-oriented work style with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong team player with the ability to contribute positively to team culture
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain NV1 security clearance
