A government health agency in Grafenwoehr, Germany, is seeking a Psychiatric Physician to provide mental health services, develop treatment plans, and supervise trainees. Grafenwoehr is a United States Army installation in eastern Bavaria, Germany. Education and Experience: You must meet education and experience requirements described below. Experience includes paid and unpaid work, including volunteer service. Your resume must clearly describe relevant experience. If qualifying based on education, transcripts may be required.
Basic Requirement for Physician (Psychiatry): Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from an accredited US or Canadian school. Must be accredited by the AMA/AAMC, LCME, COCA, or equivalent accrediting body recognized by the US Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. Foreign medical graduates may demonstrate equivalency by ECFMG certification, fifth pathway, or successful completion of the USMLE.
Licensure: Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a US state or territory.
Graduate Training: At least one year of supervised clinical experience after earning the medical degree (internship or first year of residency) in an accredited setting.
Residency Training: Successful completion of the required accredited residency in Psychiatry (equal to four years). Residency cannot be substituted by experience.
Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If using foreign education to meet qualifications, ensure credentials are evaluated as equivalent to US education by a recognized organization.
