Join the MIKUTA team as our Photo Editor & Retoucher (d/f/m)! Take a key role in defining and elevating the brand’s visual identity by owning the retouching and color grading of our imagery.

Founded in Berlin by Jacqueline Mikuta and Klemens Weiss, MIKUTA began in 2017 with a jewelry line and expanded into women's ready-to-wear in 2019. Today, MIKUTA is an independent fashion brand known for effortless design, a premium feel, and a distinct point of view.

Our team is spread across Europe, with a studio office in Berlin and a production office in northern Portugal.

We’re expanding rapidly, and to support our content team, we’re looking for a Photo Editor & Retoucher (d/f/m) who can take ownership of executing and further developing our retouching process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsibility for the retouching and color grading of all MIKUTA visuals in close collaboration with our founders and creative directors.
2. Ensuring all product images are edited true to color, with consistency across campaigns and collections.
3. Maintaining our brand’s visual identity through precise post-production work.
4. Preparing final image assets for online shop, social media, and marketing materials.
5. Collaborating with the creative team (photographers, designers, art direction) to ensure the best visual outcome.
6. Continuously improving and streamlining post-production workflows.
7. Managing and organizing image files for efficient workflow and easy access.

About You:

• You have proven experience in retouching and color grading.
• You have experience working in fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce.
• You’re highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (Capture One or similar tools are a plus).
• You have a sharp eye for detail, color accuracy, and aesthetics — balancing creativity with precision.
• You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment where flexibility and a hands-on mentality are key.
• You enjoy collaborating with a creative team but can also take ownership and work independently.
• You’re passionate about fashion, visuals, and bringing brand stories to life through imagery.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
