Office Manager / Business Support Team Manager / Events Manager

A reputable, well-established global private equity firm is seeking a first-class Office Manager / Business Support Team Manager / Events Manager to perform a varied role: manage the team of Assistants & front of house receptionists; take responsibility for the firm's events organisation; and ensure the office is running optimally in terms of facilities, processes and supplier relationships.

You should have a background of being a senior-level Executive Assistant who has taken on team-lead & office management responsibility. You must have worked for a global firm, ideally within financial or professional services.

This firm has an incredibly inclusive global culture, and strong reputation in Frankfurt. Everyone plays their part in the success of the business, and they regularly organise company-wide events, socials and weekends away in Europe. They enjoy one day per week working in home office.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the EA team is optimised, allocation is fair, identify training needs and act as a bridge between the Assistant team and investment professionals.
  • Recruit new EAs including training and upskilling
  • Manage the reception team ensuring first-class customer experience
  • Day-to-day office management
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders & suppliers
  • Events and organisation of company off-sites
  • Be the central point of contact to the London, European & US offices
Qualifications
  • A very empathetic, non-hierarchical management style is needed, as the team operate fairly self-sufficiently on a day-to-day basis.
  • Experience of being a strong Executive Assistant, with some leadership responsibility
  • Background working for a global firm, ideally financial or professional services
  • Great communication skills - fluent German and professional level English essential
  • Proactive and a ‘can do attitude’
  • Emotional intelligence, active listening skills and a warm credible style
