As Marketing Manager at Upway, you’ll play a critical role in executing our marketing strategy, optimizing demand generation, and building a locally loved brand. With a 7-digit marketing budget to manage, you’ll lead campaigns across multiple channels from social media and influencer partnerships to calendar-driven promotions and special brand activations.
Your Mission
- Demand Generation: Own and execute the DACH marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with local objectives and managing a 7-digit budget to maximize ROI.
- Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and optimize seasonal and evergreen marketing campaigns that drive traffic, boost conversions, and capitalize on key calendar moments (e.g., Black Friday, holidays, back-to-school).
- Partnerships & Affiliates: Scope, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and affiliate programs, tracking performance to optimize ROI and scaling successful collaborations.
- SEO: Develop and implement SEO strategies, including keyword research, site optimization, and cross-functional collaboration, to improve rankings, drive qualified traffic, and enhance visibility.
- Social Media & Influencer Marketing: Oversee the strategy, execution, and analysis of social media and influencer initiatives to build awareness, trust, and engagement with target audiences.
- Brand Building & CRM: Define and strengthen Upway’s local brand positioning while ensuring global consistency, and manage CRM activations to personalize messaging, improve retention, and create targeted campaigns.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Strong academic background with 3+ years of marketing experience and proven success driving demand in consumer-focused environments.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, autonomous, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a hands-on approach balanced by strategic oversight.
- Problem-Solving: Creative and resourceful, able to adapt to local market nuances and stay ahead of emerging trends.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with fluency in German and English.
- Location: Based in Berlin, with a hybrid working policy possible in the medium term.
