Responsibilities
- Architecture of complex multi-agent systems for orchestration of critical business processes across supply chain, customer touchpoints, and sales operations with millions of daily interactions
- Facilitation of technical discussions with project and product management as well as senior stakeholders for shaping AI strategy, roadmap development, and organizational AI adoption
- Development of advanced AI agents for complex customer interactions and internal business processes using modern technologies such as MCP, A2A protocols, and Google ADK
- Design of comprehensive evaluation frameworks for AI agent performance, including measurement of business impact, continuous optimization, and demonstration of return on investment
- Implementation of scalable data pipelines and analytics systems enabling real-time agent decision-making with backend architectures based on TypeScript and Python
- Optimization of Google Cloud Platform deployments with focus on performance, cost efficiency, and reliability at European enterprise scale, including seamless frontend integration
- Research and prototyping of emerging AI agent capabilities with translation of academic insights into practical business applications while ensuring security, compliance, and ethical AI practices
- Mentoring of team members and establishment of technical best practices for AI agent development to foster innovation and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Python and production-level TypeScript development
- Advanced proficiency in multiple AI agent frameworks (Google ADK, LangChain, LangGraph) with proven experience in complex multi-agent architectures
- Deep knowledge of machine learning, data science methodologies, advanced analytics techniques, and MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Extensive Google Cloud Platform expertise with focus on analytical stack (Vertex AI, BigQuery) and additional value through knowledge of engineering stack (Kubernetes, enterprise deployment patterns)
- Demonstrated experience in translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, leading cross-functional initiatives, and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and digital transformation challenges with ability to measure and communicate business value of AI implementations
- Experience in mentoring and developing technical talent combined with strategic thinking for long-term architectural decisions
- Background in both internal process automation and customer-facing AI application development, with understanding of modern backend frameworks and frontend integration
- Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written; German language skills as an advantage
- Commitment to continuous learning in rapidly evolving AI agent technologies
