Life Science Consultant, Orchestration and Exception Manager
Location : EU (Remote) As the O&EM Operations Manager, you will enable the order, supply, and distribution processes by ensuring the timely execution of business transactions, reliable system functionalities, and compliant processing standards across the end-to-end value chain for the Cell & Gene Therapy. The prime responsibility is to monitor the process, perform business transactions and provide issue resolution as well as support for system and / or interface-related topics for the Cell & Gene Therapy Orchestration Platform along with SAP ERP. Moreover, you work closely with the broader PTC organization to document applicable operating standards, share best practice knowledge, and provide training to employees on relevant procedures Responsibilities
Gather information for and perform specific business transactions (e.g. sales order, purchase order) to ensure smooth order executionMonitor and facilitate end-to-end value chain operations to identify potential transactional value chain issuesEnsure reliable virtual journey operations and efficient issue resolutionProvide business support on system / interface-related issues in daily operations along with performing daily operationsTrain and support people on applicable system procedures and share best practicesMaintain effective communication and collaboration across the various functionsAnalyze performance and drive holistic solutions by understanding processes and toolsAct as first-level business support function to coordinate system, interface or transmission-related issues in day-to-day order, distribution, and logistics operations and provide training to the users as a Super User (TCP, TMP & ERP)Address issues to the respective second-level IT support functions and follow up on corrective or preventive actionsCoordinate with the master data team the maintenance of essential master data for the Cell and Gene Therapy Platform as well as SAP ERP systemsTriage virtual journey exceptions and coordinate exception playbook executionOperational excellence
Be responsible for smooth, compliant, and timely transactional execution of the virtual treatment journey (data, transactions, documents) for Flow of Funds, Flow of Goods, and Flow of Documents, of complex individualized and personalized CGTs.Install continuous improvement ways of working in the team to achieve operational excellence in terms of quality, cost, systems setup & compliance.Strive for constant process and performance improvements by actively participating in cross-functional initiativesStakeholder Management
Maintain a proactive and close communication with various stakeholders (other PT functions, affiliates) aligning daily business to guarantee a high customer service level.Minimum Qualification and Experience Education
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Biotechnology or a related fieldLanguage
Fluent in English(verbal and written)Work experience
