Location: Germany (ideally Baden-Württemberg region, but flexible across Germany; and Europe possible for the right profile)

Salary: €100,000 – €140,000 (depending on seniority and experience)

About the Role

We’re building a new SAP IBP Supply Chain practice and looking for a motivated consultant to join as a founding team member. This is a unique opportunity to shape something from the ground up, working closely with leadership to drive pre-sales, develop offerings, and then lead the first IBP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and implement IBP S&OP and Supply Planning processes.
• Connect IBP to demand processes and ensure smooth integration.
• Take ownership of pre-sales activities (RFPs, presentations, website content, offering development).
• Lead small project teams and play a key role in building the future IBP practice.
• Support in securing and delivering the first IBP projects.
• Work across integrated supply chain processes (IBP Supply Planning, PP / DS, S / 4HANA Production Planning).

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 full IBP implementations (mid-size manufacturing, pharma, or food & beverage preferred).
• Strong background in IBP Supply Planning (time-series and order-based).
• Broader understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and ability to advise on business design, not just technical config.
• Experience with PP / DS and basic S / 4HANA Production Planning integration (not deep, but enough to connect processes).
• Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset – able to drive topics independently.
• Comfortable with a ramp-up phase (initially pre-sales focused before full projects).
• German-speaking (essential).

Nice to Have

• Experience with CIDS and SAP architecture.
• Broader S / 4HANA supply chain knowledge (AATP, APO background).
