Job Summary

As a Senior Logistics Manager you will provide leadership by directing the efforts of management personnel or staff involved in providing a variety of support.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall performance of the assigned departments or functions.
• Provide operational oversight to ensure work is accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner and provides reports to executive leadership as required.
• Oversee the awareness and employee compliance with all applicable company directives policies and procedures throughout the assigned organization.
• Coordinate activities involving the customer other organizations and/or company leadership.
• Responsible for defining training requirements developing employee skills and promoting continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Site Management teams to execute project objectives and complete data gathering tracking and reporting.
• Develop and implement performance standards and internal controls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Security clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract. Due to this you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position.
• Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 10 years of experience in logistics management.
• Must have at least 5 years overseas deployment experience in a logistics management capacity.
• Must have team building skills.
• Must possess general understanding of LOGCAP concept of operations.
• Requires strong organizational abilities.
• Must possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Requires excellent attention to detail.
• Must be able to multi-task proficiently while meeting short suspenses for both scheduled Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and unscheduled reports/tasks.
• Must have the ability to form a vision for the future and strategize solutions to reach the desired end- state.
• Must have excellent planning skills that enable you to establish goals and determine the most effect method to meet objectives.
• Must be a strategic manager who can identify inefficiencies and make improvements quickly.
• Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelors Degree in a related field.
