Role Overview

As Key Account Manager – OEM Partnerships, you are part of our OEM Department, which is integrated into the central Partnerships & Media division at mobile.de. In this role, you are responsible for building, developing, and maintaining strategic partnerships with both established and new automotive manufacturers (OEMs) and their subsidiaries.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting international OEMs as they enter the German market and drive the adoption and growth of mobile.de’s product suite, including core business and advertising solutions. A central part of your role is to develop a deep understanding of your customers’ business models, market challenges, and strategic goals.

You will regularly conduct analyses and forecasts for your customer portfolio, identifying and quantifying revenue growth scenarios and business opportunities. By leveraging data-driven insights, you will proactively propose and implement measures to maximize the success of your OEM partners on our platform.

Your focus will be on understanding customer needs, identifying business potential, and ensuring that our OEM partners achieve their goals with mobile.de. To achieve this, you will collaborate closely with internal teams such as Business Development, Analytics, Marketing, and Advertising to deliver innovative solutions and excellent service. As a trusted advisor, you will represent mobile.de externally, negotiate contracts, and drive sustainable, long-term revenue growth for both your customers and mobile.de.

You will report to the Director of OEM Partnerships, Mobility.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with established OEMs and their German subsidiaries, acting as their trusted advisor and main point of contact.
  • Support and guide new OEMs as they enter the German market, ensuring a successful onboarding and integration into the mobile.de ecosystem.
  • Drive the sales of mobile.de’s products (core business and advertising), identifying customer needs and delivering tailored solutions that add value.
  • Analyze customer performance, market trends and business potential, using insights to identify growth opportunities and develop account strategies.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, prepare and present reports, and proactively propose measures to optimize OEM performance on our platform.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue targets, increase customer satisfaction, and strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • Take ownership for achieving both your personal targets and contributing to the overall company goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Business Development, Advertising, Analytics and Marketing to ensure seamless delivery and innovation for OEM partners.
Your Profile:
  • Several years of professional experience in the automotive industry, ideally at an OEM, importer, or in a digital automotive environment
  • Strong knowledge of automotive sales, digital retailing, and financial services
  • Analytical mindset with a strong affinity for numbers and proven ability to build data-driven business cases
  • Confident in engaging with C-level stakeholders and navigating complex organizations
  • Solid project management skills, team-oriented mindset, and high self-motivation
  • Excellent communication skills in German
  • Negotiate contracts, prepare offers, and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
